We use a professional approach to PPF installation with a strong focus on detail. All possible edges of the film are carefully wrapped, minimizing visible lines and helping prevent lifting over time.
To achieve a perfect result, we use precise hand cutting and meticulous material fitting. When necessary, partial disassembly of vehicle components is performed. This approach allows us to achieve the cleanest and most seamless appearance possible, with no noticeable edges or transitions.
Stervo Garage works with premium paint protection film options from STEK, XPEL, and 3M when appropriate for the vehicle and coverage plan. We review your vehicle, check paint condition, and define the right protection plan.
Deep cleaning
The vehicle is thoroughly washed to remove dirt and loose contaminants before prep begins.
Decontamination
Embedded contaminants are removed to ensure a clean surface for proper film adhesion.
Partial disassembly (if needed)
Trim and select parts may be removed to improve access, alignment, and edge finish.
PPF installation

What is Paint Protection Film and what does it protect against?+
Clear Paint Protection Film, also known as clear bra, is a transparent polyurethane film installed over painted surfaces to shield them from chips, scratches, sand, road debris, chemicals, and UV exposure. The self-healing top layer helps minor surface marks disappear under heat while preserving the original factory finish.
Why do wrapped edges and hand-cut finishing matter?+
Wrapped edges reduce visible film lines and help long-term edge stability. Hand finishing and precise fitment allow the film to follow curves and panel geometry more cleanly. When needed, selected parts are removed so the install can look tighter and more integrated.
How much does PPF cost?+
PPF pricing depends on the vehicle, coverage area, film brand, and install complexity. Full-front, track-pack, full-body, and custom paint protection film packages are quoted after a vehicle inspection at our El Segundo studio.
PPF vs Ceramic Coating - which one do I need?+
PPF protects against physical damage such as rock chips and scratches. Ceramic coating adds gloss, slickness, and easier maintenance, but it does not stop impacts. Many clients combine PPF with ceramic coating on top.
How long does PPF last and which film brands do you use?+
Premium PPF from XPEL and STEK is designed for long-term durability and is commonly backed by multi-year warranties against yellowing and degradation. We provide a 10-year warranty against cracking and delamination of the film.
