Compared with many dyed or carbon films, ceramic tint provides stronger IR heat rejection and a deeper, more refined look without relying on metalized layers. That means it is designed to avoid the signal interference associated with metallic tint while still delivering strong heat reduction and interior protection.
All tint work is performed in-shop for better quality control: clean glass preparation, controlled installation conditions, proper curing, and consistent results. We can also help choose a shade that fits your style while staying aligned with California window tint requirements.

What is Сeramic Window Tint and what is it used for?+
Ceramic window tint is a high-performance film applied to your vehicle’s windows to reduce heat, block UV rays, and improve driving comfort. It enhances appearance, increases privacy, and helps protect the interior from fading.
How is ceramic tint different from carbon tint?+
Ceramic tint provides a significantly higher level of heat rejection — up to 98% of infrared (IR) heat, while carbon films typically block around 40–60% IR. Both films block up to 99% of UV rays, but ceramic technology delivers a higher overall level of comfort due to better heat reduction. Ceramic film also offers clearer visibility without distortion, especially at night, and has a richer, deeper shade. Unlike carbon tint, it does not interfere with GPS, Bluetooth, or mobile signals and maintains its performance over time without fading.
Which ceramic tint brands and shades are available?+
We offer two ceramic tint options: XPEL XR Plus and HITEK Pro Black. XPEL XR Plus blocks up to 98% of infrared heat (IR) and up to 99% of UV rays, delivering maximum comfort and protection. HITEK Pro Black blocks up to 80–90% of infrared heat (IR) and up to 99% of UV rays, providing solid performance and appearance. The main difference is the level of heat rejection and overall comfort in hot weather.
Is window tint legal in California?+
Yes, but California has specific visible light transmission requirements for front side windows and different rules for rear windows. We help you choose a legal shade during consultation. We offer all window tint shades, from the lightest to the darkest.
Do you offer mobile window tinting?+
No. Ceramic window tint is installed at our El Segundo studio so we can control cleanliness, lighting, temperature, film handling, and final inspection quality.
Can you tint a Tesla?+
Yes. We install ceramic window tint on Tesla Model 3, Model Y, Model S, and Model X with a focus on heat rejection, interior protection, and a clean edge finish.
